Mary Thiel MPT, graduated with her Master's in Physical Therapy in 1995 from Oakland University. She worked in inpatient rehabilitation for a few years before coming to MSU Rehabilitation 2000. She has avid interest in gait mechanics, running analysis and the osteopathic approach to musculoskeletal dysfunction. Mary is able to utilize Applied Functional Mechanics skills from Gary Gray Institute, Grastons techniques for Fascial restriction, as well as Owens Recovery Science principles of Blood Flow restriction strengthening to help her patients achieve their goals. She thoroughly enjoys her opportunity to manage the Team that is MSU Rehabilitation. She appreciates their hard work and effort providing excellent rehabilitation to the Mid-Michigan community by staying current on evidenced based intervention and continuing education.
