Worst financial institution I have ever dealt with. I have a great credit score and income, I already had a lease with them (my wife's van) and wanted to trade my truck in on a new one and get a lease. They had good rates so I moved forward with the paperwork at the dealer. 4 days later I received a letter stating that they had denied my lease request. I called and they stated "you haven't established a long enough credit history with us." My credit score was North of 700 and I have never missed a payment on anything, my income is six figures. Needless to say, this was very stressful. I had already traded my truck in and already spent money personalizing the new one. The dealership submitted my paperwork to Ally and had a response in 5 minutes, my lease was taken care. of.

Customer service 101: Own your actions, do not displace blame. The credit union tried telling me it was the dealerships fault, ridiculous.

After this terrible situation and utter incompetence on MSU credit unions behalf, I refinanced my wife's van and severed all ties with the credit union. I will never intentionally do business with this institution again and I highly advise anyone else to steer clear of them.
