Provided by YP.comAwful, dreadful experience to say the least. I contacted Sundance Studios to get some portraits done at my work location. We were quoted a price of $55 plus $15 for the CD, a total of $70. Couldn't beat that price we thought so we scheduled everything and got it all setup. About a week later something changed and we couldn't all come to their studio, so I called to change it to an on-location shoot and asked about any change in price. The guy I talked to (Don I think his name was, sounded reaaaal old) said there wouldn't be any price diference, and we'll see you at the time specified. The photographer they sent was great and all, on time and did a pretty good job for what were were expecting. So there quality of the work was good, and everything was fine. But when they sent the invoice we were in SHOCK! Completely overcharged us by more than $200. What was once $70 became $295... Be very very careful before choosing this studio. I heard mixed reviews previously from my friends and I should have listened to them! The work quality was acceptable however their business practices leave a lot to be desired. BAIT AND SWITCHERS!!! DO NOT USE!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
Mr. Watson, it would be nice that if you going to take the time to bash a company that has been in business in East Liverpool for almost 20 years that you would at the very least give ALL of the facts concerning this situation. First, someone from your company, Martin’s Funeral Home, did call and asked for a price quote to individually photograph 4 of your employees at my studio location on Dresden Ave. plus you wanted a CD of all the of these portraits. We quoted you a price of $55.00 for the 4 employees plus $15.00 for the CD. Then a week or so later someone called to ask if the photographer would come to your location in Calcutta to take the photographs with NO mention of changing the number of employees to be photographed. We said sure no problem, and we would also honor our original price quote of $70.00 for the 4 employees plus CD. When our photographer arrived at your location to photograph the original 4 employees to his surprise it now turns out that you wanted 18 employees photographed individually along with 4 separate groups of employees and of course you still wanted all of these photos on the CD. I’m not sure how long you have been Funeral Director for Martin’s but would you charge the same amount for 4 funerals as you would for 18 funerals, I don’t think so.
