We've used Charista Cinstruction for several large repair jobs for our home. Including replacing ceilings, installing new hardwood floor, and building a handicap accessible ramp for my parents to be able to go into the house with no steps. The ramp is beautiful -many compliments from PTs to nurses to friends. It actually makes the house look better.
The work was all completed within timeframes needed. Their team of workers in the house were extremely skilled, professional and courteous at all times. They went above and beyond what was specified.
Charista Construction is not a cheap contractor - four stars instead of five as a result. But I think they are well worth it. They did beautiful work and we never ever had to worry about the quality of their work or their getting it finished in a timely manner.

I like their friendliness and the quality of their service, you might need to spend more time to communicate with them if you have a tight project schedule but its worth it.

DO NOT HIRE!!!! The story is simple, While replacing a vent fan in my master bathroom, I slipped on one of the joist in the attic and fell through my children's bathroom ceiling. I contacted Charista Construction to give me a quote to fix the hole in the ceiling. After 2 missed appointments and lame excuses, the very rugged and unpleasant "quote team" arrived. After 2 weeks, I received a phone call from a representative of the company with a quote of $4500. This was well past what I would expect the repair to be. I then asked the representative to send me a itemized quote of the job. The quote they sent was a joke! All it said was "repair bathroom ceiling ..... $4500. No materials price, no labor estimation and no hourly labor rate! The next day, my electrician made a suggestion for someone he works with. After meeting Jim Cooley of Cooley Construction I knew I had hit the jackpot. Within 2 weeks the work was done and he also did extra stuff at no charge (removed ugly shower doors, hung new bowed shower curtain rod, fixed master bathroom shower curtain rod etc.. All for the low price of $1500. Charista Construction is a custom rip off. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!

Charista Construction built my deck and also finished my basement. They are reliable and get the job done in a timely manner. I have always been pleased with their service & the quality of their work.

After a fire this contractor was highered to do a complete gut and repair to home. The final work was not what was promised. The work was sub par and over priced. Items such as a iron stove and an old fashioned metal tub were removed without permision. Those items were not returned and no compinastion was given. An electric wheelchair was suppossed to be cleaned to remove smoke smell. Chair was returned with smell still in it. When asked to try cleaning it again the item was taken and was dispossed of without permision. Now the contractor is unwilling to negotiate a fair deal to compinsate and/or return items as well as fix work not done to what was promised or even to state guidelines.
