Getty Petroleum Marketing is a subsidiary of LUKOIL, one of Russia s largest oil companies. Founded in 1991, it is one of the world s top five publicly traded oil companies in terms of proven oil reserves. LUKOIL is the most internationally diversified Russian oil company, and the first to have ventured abroad to work with international oil corporations. It is Russia s number one refiner. The company has almost 4,000 gasoline stations worldwide with more than 1,300 outlets in the United States. LUKOIL acquired Getty Petroleum Marketing in 2000. It is the first Russian oil company to buy a publicly traded New York Stock Exchange listed company. The company has more than 1 billion gallons of annual gasoline sales. LUKOIL markets to three major regions in the United States, with presence in 13 northeastern and Mid-Atlantic States.
