My husband and I have moved 9 times in the last 8 years and this was the absolute worst experience ever.they showed up 5 hours late for pickup, charged an extra $1,000, and never answered their phones when I tried to inquire about my belongings. Yet when I called the sales line a pleasant lady answered the phone right away. I tried to locate my things for 2 weeks before this sales rep finally told me that they were "running behind " and I wouldn't be getting my things until a full month after they picked my stuff up from my old house. I had to shift my work schedule and cancel a long awaited IVF embryo transfer because I was still waiting for the delivery.
Once I finally received my things I was appalled. The brand new furniture that I had purchased back east now look like pieces I pulled out of a dumpster! I have water damage on my dresser and bedframe. I am missing a box full of hardware for my gym equipment that is now useless, rusting on my kettlebells and dumbbells, a large hole in my couch...the list goes on. All pieces (including gym equipment) were purchased a mere couple of months before we made our move.
I am beyond disgusted that this company which claims to expertly move people around the country treated my stuff like this...

I hired Old Country Van Lines because I saw some very good reviews about them. Actually I called three moving companies based on their reviews and finally decided to use them. When I discussed my move with their sales rep, he was responsive to all my queries and he never pushed me to hire them. I got convinced and hired them. Movers showed up on time and they were well equipped with all necessary tools and the packing materials. They packed and moved my things and they were very fast and accurate too. They completed the entire move in 4 hours. Most importantly there was nothing broken or damaged. Everything was perfectly done and I also felt that they charged me a very competitive amount.

These movers are amazing. We moved from NJ to MD and we hired Old Country Van Lines to load and unload our truck when we arrived at our new home. They answered all of our questions before moving, arrived on time and were done in just in three hours. We would definitely use them again.

Old Country Vanlines was great to work with. The sales rep really took the time to understand what we needed moved and offered suggestions on how to pack and prep for the move. The moving team arrived on time and quickly got to work. They took good care of our things and moved them quickly and efficiently. All this for a price much lower than I expected for the job we had. I will definitely be looking to use them again the next time we need movers.

This was the smoothest move I have experienced. The moving team was professional and efficient. They never once stopped for a break. So nice, so quick and left everything in clean, unharmed condition. They took care of everything. I didn't have to worry about anything. They made the move so easy. I can't say enough good things about Old Country Vanlines. The movers did a phenomenal job moving me. They did it in a short amount of time too. They were very hard workers. I have never come across a moving company that is more efficient or cost effective than Old Country Vanlines. They helped me move last month. The movers sent from the company were so friendly and polite. They packed up everything so easily and then loaded the truck. The whole process took them less time to complete. The delivery was made right on time with all my valuables completely unharmed. I have never had a relocation that was so perfect. That’s probably because I had never hired this amazing moving company before.

I had hired movers from Old Country Vanlines for my recent move. They carefully and quickly moved my two bedroom apt jammed packed with furniture and heavy stuff into a 2 bedroom walk up in less time than quoted. Nothing was broken. They paid special attention to my boxes marked fragile as I was beyond paranoid the contents would break but no scratches or damages were there. I highly recommend them as they are the best movers I've worked with.

We highly recommend Old Country Van Lines. Their movers were professional, energetic, super positive and eager to do a great job. They even went so far as to hoist our couch up to the 3rd floor balcony when it wouldn't fit coming through the townhouse. I had spent virtually all my life in NJ until my company moved offices to NYC. I had lots of things that needed to be transported to my new place in Nolita, NY and so I needed the best moving service I could get. I reached out to Old Country Van Lines on the recommendation of my uncle. The company sent an inspector who came to check the stuff and he furnished me with details pertaining the move. It was a reasonable price given that they pledged to do everything for me. The movers who were sent on the actual moving day were punctual, and they handled the process quite well.

After using Old Country Van Lines to move my business, I rank them as a 5 star company. Movers came on time, packed, boxed and wrapped everything perfectly, moved at the designated location without a hitch and stored all my stuffs exactly how I wanted and charged a very moderate amount. So, I'm very satisfied with my move and recommend this company to everyone!

I called them after hearing from my cousin who used their services. I wasn't disappointed, especially since this was my first independent moving to a place closer to my job. Nothing went missing so I was super relieved. The transition was over in a day (but then again, short distance). Price was reasonable. The moving guys were also very polite and helpful.

I could go on and on about How great Old Country Van Lines did with my long distance move but no one want to read paragraphs. These Guys ROCKED IT. nothing was damaged, The price was good, and the customer service was fantastic, do yourself a favor and hire these guys. I know I will again if I need to.
