Edward T. Bowser Sr. Unique School of Excellence is one of the schools operated by the East Orange School District. It offers a two-way bilingual program that utilizes English and Spanish as the basis of instruction and subject matter is delivered in both languages in the classrooms. The goal of its medical and allied health program is to educate students about the human body and make them familiar with health care professions and help students gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to develop an awareness of the role medicine play in society. It uses the New Jersey State Assessment System to assess the performance of students in grades four through 11. Edward T. Bowser Sr. Unique School of Excellence is located In East Orange, N.J.
