Provided by YP.comI am a former resource parent of Tri-City and I have to say, the staff professional performance and support is highly POOR. When I started with is corp as a resource parent, they made me do training, all this paperwork and told me that I needed to buy a crib and clothes before my the foster care process can move forward. As I do all of this, I then get told that my application was not approved and I needed to handle A couple of matters first. This is not how you do business, my application should have been processed and I should have been told that certain matters needed to be resolved FIRST before having me go out and purchase a crib and clothes. I feel as though the beginning process was very unorganized as well as unprofessional. As they allowed me to care for a 2 week old baby girl up to 10 months. I ran into a situation with DYFS and I had very little support through out the whole situation and on a reg normal basis, when it came to issues with the caseworker. They scared to death of DYFS so therefore, If you have a issue, they will be on their side and not yours if a meeting is nec. There is a social worker by the name of Ms. Garner that you will get assigned to there. Do not trust her AT ALL. She will act all nice and agree with you and talk to you, but will betray you as a foster parent in a min. She will know for a fact that DYFS icase worker is wrong and treating you wrong, but will not speak up for you if needed. Then they have Mr. Jude that will act like he do not know much of anything about how a situation or issue is being handled, he seem like he is just there, to make you sign certain paperwork and try to force you to give up you w2 and tax information and don't never know why the "finance department" need this type of serious financial info, when no other foster care agency ask for these things. No matter how good of a foster parent you are and they see that you are, if they do not take to you well, you will experience that they cannot be trusted no matter how much they try to convince you that they on your side and all they trying to do is help you.Tri City will not allow you to claim a child after 6 months to a yr of having that foster child in your home. How is that? When the IRS says it is ok. There is alot of sneaky crooked people in that foster care agency and it has not longer became about the children anymore.
