Established in 1983, Institute for Human and Social Development is a nonprofit organization, providing comprehensive child development services throughout California. Based East Palo Alto, Calif., the institute is one of the nation s leaders in the development of inclusion programs for children with special needs. The Institute for Human and Social Development has partnerships with County and City Libraries, Moonridge Housing, Community Gatepath, Legal Aid Society and Shelter Network of San Mateo County, to name a few.
