I was aware Riverview offered competitive pricing, & great offerings as far daily activities, transportation services, and meals from menu, based on previous searches for a place for my parents. The Riverview facility also offers independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing home facilities all in one complex, which was very important to me for my parents.
I also had a very positive previous exposure to Riverviews skilled nursing facility, when we had to do hospice with my father 2 years ago and chose this location.
This year, after a very extensive back surgery, I was restricted to not walk for 12 weeks, making it impossible for me to return home to my 2 story home, & I was able to experience "first hand" the offerings at Riverview.
I picked Riverview skilled nursing facility to move to from the hospital, based on past experiences. My 3 weeks there was a good experience, as all the nurses, aides, and physical therapy people there were outstanding, and I felt well cared for.
As I hit the point where I didn'tn need skilled nursing & was independent as far as therapy, but I could still not return home due to restrictions, I had no idea what I would do next!
The skilled nursing and independent/transitional living staff at Riverview, got together & put together a plan with a hospital bed added to an independent living apartment, an electric chair arranged, and for a very fair daily $, I would continue to meet my restrictions spending 20 hrs a day in bed as back healed, until I could make the transition back home. The people & services at Riverview exceeded my expectations, & they always went “above and beyond” to make sure all was as it should be!
With the past and recent "first hand" exposure to the Riverview complex, I would highly recommend those needing facilities like Riverview offers, for their loved ones or for themselves , take a look at what Riverview has to offer.

My Mom recently moved here. It is an excellent place for your senior family members. The staff is so welcoming and helpful; the 3 meals a day that are included in the rent are excellent; the building is very clean; there is always something going on. Mom is very happy here, she is busy all the time, eating better, and getting the exercise she needs.
