Anaren designs, manufactures and sells complex microwave signal distribution networks and components for the wireless communications, satellite communications and defense electronics industries. Its products include couplers, power dividers, resistors, vector modulators, beamformers, circulators, RF backplanes, and custom ceramic circuit boards and components. Anaren products are sold/serviced through a global network of representatives and stocking distributors, including Richardson, Avnet & Avnet and BFI Optilas. Anaren was founded in 1967 as a supplier of microwave components and subassemblies for the defense electronics markets. The company has corporate headquarters in East Syracuse, N.Y., and trades on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol ANEN.
