The Presbyterian Preschool was established 1972 and is the oldest continuously running preschool in Talbot County. We are firm believers that a positive and enriching preschool experience is a great start to a child’s education and beyond. We believe that establishing a positive perception of school is the cornerstone of a lifelong love of learning. With fun as our foundation, our program strives to develop socialization and readiness skills, such as turn-taking, following directions, phonics, colors, numbers, and shapes. “Our preschool has a carefully prepared play-based and child-centered environment that invites young children to explore, examine, question, predict, test, and investigate. We believe that learning through play is different for every child because every child is learning at his own pace, every child is learning in his own style, and every child is guided by his own interests.”
