Overpriced, no humanity! On 02/23/15 my well pump stopped working and since my 85 year old mother lives with us it was imperative the water be restored as soon as possible.

Several plumbers in the area were called but Action Plumbing was the first to respond. Mario's initial quote simply for walking through my doors was $120.00, which I thought at first to be high but I needed the water to get turned back on.

Mario got into the well pit and noticed the well pump was not running, he TAPPED on the pump switch and the pump went on. He then said the pressure gauge had stopped working and needed to be replaced. His quote to replace a $10.00 water pump gauge was $256.25. When asked if I could forgo replacing the gauge for the time being, he said the house call would now cost $180.

There was very little I could do, Mario spent a little over an hour at the house (of which 20 minutes was used installing the water pump gauge) and when he left I was short $376.35.

To make matters worst … the well pump stopped working less then TWO HOURS after Marion from Action Plumbing left. Never will I use their services again and I will certainly not recommend them to anyone.

called this company to unclog a drain in a shower that my mother and father in law were using. I didn't have time to do it and I looked them up via google. Mario Martucci (the owner) said the call would be $90.00 I said okay and he would be out that day. He arrived when my husband and mother in law were there. He started explaining to my mother-in -law (which has no clue about plumbing and he knew this) he has a "special plumber" and he would need to snake it out (this snake he has by the was is only 6 feet..I don't even know where to buy only a 6 ft snake!) for an additional $139.98!! I get a call from my husband and I thought the $90 included this. I said well he is already there just have him unclog the drain. About 5 minutes later my husband calls me again saying he will need to cut the pipes and we have all these cracked pipes. I said get him out of there now!!!!! I come home to mess in the shower and it still clogged. I then used a shop vac to suck the water out of the drain, then poured drain $9.99 cleaner down the pipe, waited overnight and next morning followed it with boiling water and WALA the drain is cleared!! I then find out while he was at my house he was looking at all my bathrooms (not relevant) and looking at all my pipes in my basement (not relevant) and saying my main drain is cracked.. these should be replaced with brass piping!!! I call this clown (Mario) the next day he tries to tell me the same story. He must think my main drain goes uphill and into a toilet and I can't see any crack! He doesn't know I am a chemical engineer with 10 years experience repairing heat exchanges, bioreactors, etc and have remodeled must of the house he was in!!!! He also says expired licenses and a grade of F on Angie's list. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

SCAM ARTIST!!! STAY FAR AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!! I called this company to unclog a drain in a shower. I get a call from husband said well he is already there just have him unclog the drain.About 5min later my husband calls me again saying he will need to cut pipes to remove the clog & will be a extra 1000! I said get him OUT OF THERE NOW!!! I come home to a mess in shower & it still clogged.I cleared the drain myself. I find out he was looking at all of our bathrooms & said main sewer line (which is a toilet line) was cracked & should be all replaced with brass!!! I call this guy the next day and he tries to tell me the same thing! He doesn't know I am a chemical engineer that has remodeled many bathrooms. His licenses are expired & has grade f on angies list!
