I purchased a Red Bud tree for my wife, she’s always loved them. Since it was for our 50th anniversary I decided to avoid the big box stores and buy locally thinking I’d get better quality. I took special care in planting the tree following all recommendations from Blue Barn. After it was in the ground it slowly deteriorated to the point that I thought I’d visit Blue Barn for some recommendations. I took a picture so that they could see the lack of progress. When I showed it to the gentleman in charge he didn’t seem to interested. When I asked what he could do he marched me back to where the trees were and showed me a beautiful one in full bloom. He said that mine came from the same batch and should look like that. He did not offer any suggestions or thoughts on what could be wrong. I don’t know what good it did to show me a healthy tree when I was looking for advise on an unhealthy tree. At any rate I did not feel like a customer and apparently he did not think of me as one. This was not my first purchase at Blue Barn but it certainly is my last. It’s funny that this still bothers me after all this time, but it’s spring and I just cut the lawn. Every time I pass by that tree it brings back Blue Barn and I can’t say it enough, stay away from this business. The only comment I got from them was a very sarcastic HAVE A NICE DAY. customer service oriented they are not. I’ve attached a picture of the tree that reminds me to never go near this business again. So much for buy locally!!!

I stop there yesterday and ask the man that was working if he had any tree pheoy. He said to me "Can you afford one of them." I said I had one he said the key word was had. I said well how much did he sell them for. He said $60.00. I think he was very rude and I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know how rude your employer was and not to go there. I could have told him that I own 2 home in Pa and land in Missouri I think I can afford $60.00. Santa LeVance

Very healthy plants . Very large selection of unique , fair priced trees and shrubs. Perfect place if you look for something different .

Excellent selections and prices. I was buying a lot online, but Blue Barn has better prices, and plants twice the size I was getting online for much less.
