Founded in 1934, Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission is one of the oldest quasi-public service-oriented toll agencies in the United States. Based in Easton, Pa., the company provides a range of services for the river crossings between the Pennsylvania and New Jersey states. It offers complete maintenance solutions to over 20 bridges, which consists of seven toll bridges and thirteen toll-supported bridges. The commission maintains a number of bridges, including the Upper Black Eddy, Centre Bridge, Washington Crossing and Trenton Toll. Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission has completed various projects, such as Trenton-Morrisville Toll Bridge rehabilitation, Northerly Crossings congestion study, I-78 NJ Roadway rehabilitation and Districts 1, 2 and 3 Substructure repair/scour remediation.
