I am a Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgeon at St Luke's University Health Network. My practice is dedicated to the treatment of chronic pain, movement disorders and various spinal disorders. I am a strong proponent of personalized care. I believe that in the care of each patient a conscious effort needs to be placed on personal values and desires. Although not every clinical decision can be made solely on personal preferences, a patient's perspective on their individual needs to be understood and valued. I completed my medical studies at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and neurosurgical residency at West Virginia University. I then completed my training with a fellowship in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery fellowship at Albany Medical Center. During my time there, I developed advanced skills and techniques in neuromodulation for chronic pain and deep brain stimulation for movement disorders. My past research has focused primarily on improving clinical outcomes in chronic pain patients through the use of neuromodulation. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. We enjoy traveling and enjoying outdoor activities such as swimming and hiking.
