Our border collie mix had two great experiences (bath, trim, nails) at Sandy King's, but the third (July 2015) disappointed. Instead of taking 3-4 hours, as before, it took 6 even though our appointment was first thing in the morning. Afterward the hair/feathers around his head looked chopped up. The take away might be to avoid Fridays. What's inexplicable, however, is that he emerged with his leash destroyed--handle missing, two ends knotted to make a 4-foot lead. The man in charge explained that it had been in the crate and our dog chewed it up. Odd, because he's not a chewer; maybe he was anxious. The take away--if we ever return--is to keep the leash with us. It's disappointing to be enthusiastic about a groomer and have service go suddenly off the rails.

I take my dog here all the time. Great grooming and treatment. They know how to do difficult cuts like a puddle. My dog is always happy to see the groomer. They wash, cut the coat, trim the nails.
