We went late afternoon (around 3 pm). There was only one other couple seated inside, and two tables seated on the deck. There was a bartender, a waitress (no uniform as someone commented on below) and the cook. We were provided with menus within a few minutes, and the waitress was friendly. I ordered the Independence Patty Melt and subbed onion rings ($8.95 plus $1.25 for the sub). It also came with a very small side of coleslaw which was awful. My companion had the cajun cheeseburger ($8.59). We got the orders in about 10 minutes. I ordered my burger well done - it was still pink in the middle and the waitress never checked back so I had to eat around the pink and left the rest. Also, who puts mushrooms on a pattymelt?? The onion rings were great. The ranch dressing we ordered on the side with them was very watery. My companion said his burger was "OK". We also got a slice of cheesecake w/strawberries ($4.95). Slice was really small and the strawberries, which were $1 extra, was just jam out of a jar. Neither one of us would go back. The food is overpriced, other than the onion rings was not good, not cooked as requested, and the service while friendly was not attentive for how empty the place was. I doubt they will be in business for long.

The fish was excellent! I got the fried and my wife had the broiled.

We ordered one of Yankee Jack's speciality Pizza's, The Ruben. What an excellent product. Good crust and high quality toppings and cheese.
