Mothers Day weekend , early May 2011 a few friends and I decided to grab our poles and hip waders and head out to the stream on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. That day I ended up setting my hook on a 20 inch Brownie. With the sounds of my best friends yelling around me, I saw the fish flash in the water and suddenly my heart started to race. I was so caught up in the moment and it's a very fond memory of mine. The next week I took my prize to California Run Fish Taxidermy where Mr. Scanlan did an outstanding job. The detail that Jeff puts into his projects is superb and am very pleased with the way my fish looks hanging on my wall. Every time I look at it I feel proud and smile (I like to show it off) and I know that is what Jeff wants from his customers. I recently have taken my biggest buck with a bow last year. So i decited to get it mounted.. I have had deer mounted befor, and all my other deer were mounted by different taxidermist... Last year i decited to use California Run Fish Taxidermy as my taxidermist for my biggest buck that I have taken and I am very pleased with them. Jeff took my deer and did an amazing job on it,... You can tell that he loves to do this kind of work because of the time that he puts into the detail of the animal to make it look as if its alive.. I went on a trip to Lake Erie where I caught my very first Walleye. I wanted to have my memory of the trip to last as long as possible so I decided to have the walleye mounted. I searched on the internet for a taxidermist that was close and that had experience. I am really pleased with the price that they gave me, but the quality of the work is breath taking!!!! It looks way beyond anything I ever expected! Thank you so much for the great work, I found my "go to" taxidermist!
