Hartfiel was founded in Minneapolis, Minn., in 1958. The company is an automation and motion control distributor with a facility in Eden Prairie, Minn., serving customers in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and western Wisconsin. In 2002 the company expanded its area of coverage. Hartfiel added a facility in Des Moines, Iowa, that serves customers in Iowa and Nebraska. Shortly after that addition we added a facility in Kansas City, Kan., which serves customers in Kansas, Western Missouri and Northern Oklahoma. The Hartfiel has ISO 9001:2000 certification as well as a quality management system that covers the distribution and assembly of pneumatic automation and motion control products at locations in Minnesota, Iowa and Kansas. The assembly group provides pneumatic and motion products into sub-assemblies for clients to be ready to install into their equipment. Hartfiel s quality process insures that all sub-assemblies are 100 percent pneumatically- and electrically-tested.
