Pump it Up

We went to the "Pop In Playtime" at Pump It Up in EP on 12/23/2011. I could not believe how rudely we were treated at the counter! It was obvious the gal working didn't want to be there, and even more obvious that she didn't want to deal with customers. She refused to honor one of the Pump It Up coupons that we had received from that location, claiming it was expired, though there was no expiration date on it. Honestly, due to her nasty attitude, we would have left immediately had it not been for our child. We had already promised to go, so we felt it was necessary to complete the trip in that regard. However, we'll NEVER go back, as far as I'm concerned. The place was dirty. Parents didn't watch over their kids and the bigger kids were out of control in regards to smaller children. Neither the other parents nor staff seem to care at all about safety. There is one spot on the carpeting that appears to have wax or some slippery substance spilled on it. I watched numerous kids slip and fall there. We thought about talking to the gal at the counter about it but, as I wrote, she wasn't willing to help anyone! It's too bad because, with proper management and upkeep, this concept it a good one. I think we'll be heading to their competition in Shakopee in the future. It is a little farther, but the staff are consistently nice there.
