Edgewood Middle School is a learning center that offers academic instruction to students in grades seven and eight. It provides various athletic activities that include football, basketball, cross-country, baseball, wrestling, volleyball, softball, and track and field. The school offers classes in social studies, art, Spanish, physical education, computer applications, English and science. It operates a computer lab, cafeteria, and library and media center. In addition to band, choir and homework club, Edgewood Middle School provides opportunities to participate in the National Junior Honor Society and Future Farmers of America. The school has a parent-teacher organization and is governed by Moriarty Municipal Schools.
