Provided by YP.comI have had many wonderful experiences with Dr. Stacy Thornton and her Co-Veterinarians. She saved one of my beloved dogs and didn't even charge me for an X-ray. My dog loved going to see her even though she stuck him with needles, IVs and staples after major surgery twice. She saved my beloved cat that had Corona Virus, even though most would have advised putting him down and he lived over 8 wonderful years without problems. She has also compassionately euthanized my pets, including a pot-bellied pig housepet, plus arranged reasonable financing for all. Thank you soooo much. Carole Steinbach

Provided by YP.comThis is a pretty top notch vet. I have to disagree with the rambling and incoherent negative review from "Christine J". My experience with Western Trails has been that they are sensitive to the limited budgets of us “country folk” while delivering an excellent service.
Dr. Boswell has looked at my goats, Great Pyrenees, Anatolians, & German Shepherds at both her office AND at my home. She listens well and understands that those of us in the country who raise animals both love our pets AND want to save a dollar by not paying for extra services or medicines our animals maybe don't need or that we can’t afford. I imagine Western Trails knows that most of us are on a budget and so they make recommendations accordingly. However, if you would like to explore a heart transplant for your Pomeranian, you should probably mention that tidbit of information since the vet might otherwise assume that the equivalent of animal hospice care would be more in line with reality if your doggie is dying.

Provided by YP.comMy wife and I have used Western Trails Veterinary Hospital for several years. The vet and staff have twice made an after-hour house-call to tend to an injured horse, once in mid-winter. The staff and the veterinarians have always been courteous and professional. We have never had unreasonable wait times for an appointment. Twice each year Dr. Thornton schedules house-calls to update vaccinations. This saves me the effort of loading the horses and taking them to the clinic, but it is particularly convenient since the dogs get vaccinated at the same time. I highly recommend Dr. Thornton and Western Trails Veterinary Hospital.
