City of Edina - Recycling is one of the divisions of the health department operated by the government of Edina, Minn. The division offers a variety of recycling programs focusing on waste reduction and recycling. It operates recycling programs to separate recyclables from garbage in single family and multiunit dwellings. The division offers recycling of various materials, including newspapers, magazines and catalogs, mixed paper, plastic bottles with necks, cans, glass and telephone books. It also offers recycling of cracker, cake and cookie boxes, and flattened, bagged and bundled cardboards. The division s recycling process includes preparation of recyclables, providing recycling containers and collection of recyclable materials.
