Never seen so much shrugging of shoulders by a psychiatrist&therapist. Therapists questions were so confusing we couldn't understand Questions. Therapist became somewhat aggressive during questions&I could see my son shut down@that point. out patient program in Chaska for 2weeks. While under their care another patient gave my son medication (they are supposed2search children each day) ended up w/my son overdosing while@the program&was sent down2emergency4 12 hours 2make sure he didn't seizure, sent him up2in patient care in Brookyn Park 4 1 wk. Asked not to put my son&the patient that gave him meds 2gether@Brooklyn Park. they did anyway.son wanted2try out patient again@Chaska,he felt he didnt get what he needed out program because of interruption/location change after overdose. They refused his re enrollment!! disappointed in the advocacy treatment&supervision of this program&in the particular therapist&psychiatrist we had@the Chaska location. They need more schooling&more experience.

I left their treatment center worst than when I arrived. Patients hid and violently used tools to harm themselves. I remember there were several fights between staff and patients. It is very dangerous and unpredictable when you are in there. It is NOT individualized care, it is a FOR-PROFIT company. I am traumatized by the things I witnessed here. Please stay away from this type of company and all the doctors that run it. Many nurses were verbally abusive, and doctors were disrespectful and careless towards my treatment. This place is a joke. Yeah they change lives, they fucked up my life. Now my family owes over $20,000 and the worst part was they wrongfully billed us on medical expenses that we did not undertake. My doctor prescribed me an endless list of medications that not only worsened my mental health, but it made my body unstable. My family begged for me to be released, and they made up lies so they could extend my stay for more than 2 and a half months. We had to fight against them with LAWYERS just so I could be transferred to another facility. As soon as I left, they refused to send any of my documents concerning my treatment to my new doctor. Don't ever trust the "Free Needs Assessment" it's the thing they use to lure you into their system and trap you from escaping until they are satisfied with the profit they made from you.

As a former employee of Prairie St Johns in Fargo, I shudder to think about anything affiliated with Emmett Kenney MD. He is a tyrant and does not advocate ofr patients or staff. As I psych nurse with over 20 years of experience, I would not recommend the Fargo hospital to anyone!
