You are referred by your physician for tests because you may have a severe medical problem. cashier at hospital informs you that you have not met your deductible. You offer to pay 1/3 up front and make payment arrangements, but she tells you you must give a minimum of 2/3 before you are tested. Seriously??? My insurance pays 90%, you will let me die before you agree to a payment plan?
