We thought this was a local company when we had them install last summer a new hvac system and found a few months later when the heat was not functioning properly that they sent us a repairman from out of state and wasn't clear about what was wrong with the system then and it didn't run right all winter. Then this spring on the first hot day....the air conditioner wasn't working and we called and had to wait 8 days for someone to come out and tell us we needed a valve replaced and they had to order the part. We called for several days with no call back......finally they called and said we had to pay $893 in labor for installation of the new valve. We called in another company for second opinion and found that the valve was not compatible with the system and they should never have put in on that system to begin with and we had to pay $1200 to them to get it all straightened out. Comfort Zone was trying to push off on us the cost of their mistake and by Virginia law they should have corrected everything so we are filing a complaint with the Va Contractors Board. Stay away from these people!

This company changed ownership and I am very dissatisfied with the current owners. Actually, I am disappointed in both the new and old owners at the moment. Two years after having a unit installed we are having trouble finding replacement parts for the unit and it’s accessories. The new owners have been called 2-3 times about getting help with this and called once about getting our unit services. The female that answered the phone was rude and testy. The last call in was a week ago the first several months and I am still waiting to hear back from them. Someone else out of the area will now be getting their business!!! :-(

Great People

I have an A/C unit that needed some work done to it due to a leak. I had another company come out and look at it last summer. That company just wanted me to replace the whole upstairs unit. I didn't believe the whole unit needed replaced and I wasn’t about to shell out that kind of money without a second opinion. I called these guys because my wife had seen them around the area. They came out, looked at the unit, told me exactly what was wrong (and the unit didn't in fact need to be replaced), and fixed it just like that. Their prices were fair and their people were professional and courteous. I felt like they were really looking out for our best interest as opposed to just trying to make an extra buck or two. Highly recommend!!
