WOW, I honestly can't believe some of the reviews. Of course, I guess we all have our own personal taste & opinions.. I have been going to Blue Moon for years.



I can honestly say after going here, and also trying numerous other Chinese restaurants, nothing compares.. Yes, it is a hole in wall place (of course some of those are the best, and in my opinion this is.) Egg rolls at Blue Moon are THE BEST, period!!! They taste unlike any other. They are handmade and not some frozen warmed up, "soggy" overly greasy cooked- or too much cabbage egg rolls. The crispy texture is awesome! The orange sauce is the best. Their egg drop soup is awesome. Unlike others: it's not to watery or overly thick and starchy tasting, it's perfect. I love their Hawiian chicken it is crispy, battered and perfect. (If you find that it has TOO much batter, then maybe you need to find something with just the meat.) Their Fried rice is great, not to dry and love that they put little meat cubes in it. Only thing i'd change is maybe adding egg to their fried rice and their lo mein. Other than that, this is not a fancy place, but the best Chinese food I have ever had! OH I also read a review about a guy complaining about MSG, it says right on the menu you MAY request NO MSG! Just a thought

Blue Moon has the best egg rolls in town. The rest of their food that I've tried over the years has always been very good too. Their food seems to be more flavorful than most Chinese places around.

Blue moon has and continues to have some of the most absolutely tasty Chinese food I have ever had. Everthing is served fresh and is obviously made by hand. Their crab ragoon is crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside with garlic rather than the huge chunks of onion that so many similar restaurants seem to favor. Their eggrolls have a unique almost nutty taste that lingers on the tongue and is complimented by their tangy plum sauce. Notable dishes include but are not limited to their garlic chicken and my personal favorite the sesame chicken. The garlic chicken is lightly battered in a garlicky bread coating that is crunchy without being greasy. The sesame chicken is crunchy with a spicy sweat red sauce. The service is excellent. The staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. The only reason I didnt rate Blue Moon as five stars is the restroom facilities. Half of the toilets are invariably broken but otherwise the restrooms are clean. For the best Chinese food in the OKC metro area make sure to stop at Blue Moon.
