Provided by YPmobileSorry American Home Sheild caused a bad experience with Expert Mechanical, I have dealt with warranty and private pay both with this company, and I understand that Expert Mechanical was controlled by American Home Sheild, private pay was much better, serviced and fixed the same day! Good luck and get rid of AHS!!

Provided by YP.comWorst Company that I have ever dealt with. This company was sent to me through my home warranty company. My initial attempt to call them back to set up the original appointment took 2 days. The female answering the phone told me that she was at an orthodontic appointment with her son. They had to order parts for my stove and refrigerator (the ice maker was not working and the top oven would not maintain the correct temperature). After replacing the parts, neither top or bottom oven heats up at all. Additionally, I have to be turned breaker off to stop the fan inside of the oven from blowing. The ice nor the water dispenser is working on my refrigerator. Both my appliances or in worst shape than before they came out. They allow the voice message to fill out and do not answer the phone. When I finally get the female on the phone an ask why is there no one to answer the phone, she promptly hangs up on me.

They were sent to my home by the home warranty company (I too, have requested they be added to the "do not use" list) after about 10 minutes in my house, I was told they needed to order parts which would take 3-5 business days. After 2 1/2 weeks without being contacted, I called them to check the status and was told they didn’t have the parts nor did they have an ETA on them. I was told they would contact the supplier to get a tracking number. I called back the next day and was told the same thing; they didn't have a tracking number followed by a lengthy explanation as to how difficult it is to get a tracking number. I immediately called the home warranty company who advised me that the Expert Mechanical had contacted them the previous day and could not locate the parts with their suppliers. The parts were NEVER ordered and the home warranty company has now assumed responsibility for locating them. Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. It doesn’t take 12 business days to realize you can’t get replacement parts. Don’t waste your time or money on this company!

Provided by YP.comThe worst company we've ever had to deal with on service on our home! So horrible that our home warranty company has also decided not to use their services in the future. After several months of phone calls and sending people out a few times to do inspections, reporting incorrect diagnosis and repeatedly having to get "part numbers," they claimed they never received the part that was ordered, so they wouldn't pay for the "lost part." However, after the warranty company verified the part was in fact delivered and signed for by one of their representatives, the technicians finally came out to do the install. But then said they weren't able to remove the old part without having to remove the entire vent hood and tile backsplash around it. They said they would have someone else come out to look at it again for other options. Instead, they never came back or returned our calls. We wasted about 6-7 months dealing with them and the broken part in the vent hood was fixed in less than a week by another company - without having to remove the entire hood or tile back splash. DO NOT USE EXPERT MECHANICAL. Horrible customer service and they have no idea how to run a business!

Provided by YP.comThis outfit is a joke. They were sent out by my home warranty company to repair my gas range. They started complaining about the warranty company immediately, and about how they hate coming on these calls because they "make no money" They supposedly diagnosed the problem, informed me it would be 3 to 5 days on the part(s). That was 3 weeks ago. Terrible customer service! After repeated calls, and countless excuses, I have about given up on them. They couldn't take my service fee fast enough. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Provided by YPmobileThis was the worst customer service I have ever expirienced. Serviceman (Dana) was supposed to fix my washer at $350. Ended up being $425. He left. It didn't work. I called back to set appointments. He avoided calls missed appointments and acted like it was my fault. Very rude guy. Very bad service man. Washer is still broken... Thank you for stealing my money. Literally stole my money
