After reading the recommendations here, i decided to take my wedding dress to be altered. I called first to ask how long it would take, and also what times they were open. The woman (can't remember her name now..) was very friendly. When i got there, there wasn't anyone else there. so she was able to help me right away. it's a very small place tucked in a tiny shopping plaza, with just one changing booth. she had me try on my dress, i tried explaining to her that i wanted my dress shortened quite a bit. i was hoping to buy a short wedding dress, but wasn't able to find one in my size. anyway, she was pretty quick after i got my dress on and stood on the pedistal for her. all i really wanted was to have the dress shortened and hemmed, and also a bustle sewn in. she recommended i shorten the sleeve area. so after i changed, she gave me a ticket with their card stapled to it. i asked her for the amount, and she said $215. She finished in exactly 7 days. she told me to pick up the dress, they were open till 6pm. i live in everett, and had to drive to edmonds after my husband got out of work. so when i arrived at 5:40p to find the store already closed.. i was a little annoyed. especially since my ticket said the pick up time was between 4-6pm. the next day i called and asked again if they were going to be open until 6p, she said yes. once again i got there around 5:30p she was the only one there. this time she didnt seem as friendly, she actually seemed a little annoyed to be there. she had my dress off to the side waiting for me. i had brought cash with me to pay for the dress, i brought $225. she told me that it was going to be $240 and some change. i asked her about 3 times "how much?" not being rude, but i couldn't understand her accent so well. i was really surprised at how much more she was charging me. i used my visa check card, since i didn't have enough cash. she ran it through twice and said it was being declined. strange.. so i went next door to the bank and withdrew $40 more. (no problem using my card there). i was so stressed out, after driving through horrible traffic (not to mention the 3 car accidents on the way), and her being rude for no reason. she didn't even bother to have me try my dress on. she used a calculator, and gave me my change. no receipt or anything. i was so.. confused by her i just wanted to leave as quick as i could. i got to my car, realized i needed gas. went to the gas station.. my debit card didnt work after that. so i thought to use the cash left over. when i pulled up to the gas station i realized that she had ripped me off. she only gave me $4 back. i was so angry at myself for letting her rip me off. i understand i should have been maybe a little more aggressive and checked my change. learned my lesson. the dress was OK. she didn't really shorten the dress much, i still tripped on it when i walked. and she didnt fix some of the seams that had started to come apart. over all, i wasnt impressed. i will stick to going to the golden thread in everett.. cheaper and more friendly.

This business provides the professional services: very punctual, the prices are not as to compare to other stores. They do a beatiful job. They did my wedding gown, repaired my leather jacked, and even did upholstery for my very small sofa. The owner of the store and the employee work together to provide an excellent costumer services. I am really happy that i finnaly found the one i was looking for. This business is the best.
