EmailLana McGinnis founded the Ballet Academy of Performing Arts in 1984. Her vision was to create a positive atmosphere through qualified teachers encouraging a love of dance, music, and the arts. BAPA has a tradition of achieving that goal, and continues to provide that to the students that dance here. The Ballet Academy of Performing Arts offers expert instruction in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and modern/lyrical for all ages!

Provided by YP.comI have taken several classes here, and I have really enjoyed it! The atmosphere is friendly and we students feel like a team, not rivals. The teachers are kind and encourage us to do our best. I feel like I am learning a lot and improving and am enjoying myself at the same time. I will be dancing here for many more years!

Provided by YP.comThis is the most wonderful ballet studio! I have had such a positive experience. :) I love all the instructors here at the academy; they always help me improve! I would recommend anyone to dance here, it's a wonderful environment.

- Our facility was designed especially to accomodate the needs of dancers and their parents. We offer two beautiful studios that include properly constructed raised wood floors, twelve foot ceilings, picture windows, two dressing rooms, and full length mirrors.
