I inquired about a bike listed on Craigslist and they responded back with an answer that seemed a little demeaning. I will copy and paste the response below.



"Bicycle blue book is the most inaccurate bicycle price guide. Do you really think prices in the most bike friendly city like Seattle would same as in Memphis? Our prices are firm."



The bike was priced at $750 and I simply asked if they would consider $550 as this was book value for the bike I was considering, it was a used bike and that was my answer they gave me. Perhaps questioning the value of one of their bikes was offensive in some way.
