I found out after my last experience at this salon and subsequently a family member's experience that it is the new policy of this salon to double book. Therefore it is likely that you will have the hair stylist that you pay for, for the minimal amount of time while their assistant or another stylist does the rest of the work. The result is not a more efficient experience as you have to wait for the stylist to check on you after ever step, and due to the juggling act, appointments rarely begin on-time. I have been to higher end salons and never experienced this before. The salon is obviously more interested in making money then providing an excellent clientele experience. However, it is the lack of respect for a client's time that is the most frustrating aspect of this practice.
