My husband and I decided to use Cedar's services for our wedding. The owner, Sarah Young, didn't give us the time of day. During our consultation she seemed very rushed and didn't write down any of our ideas for color schemes, etc. We thought it was just the busy-ness of wedding season. However, we quickly learned that our preferences and styles for flowers would not be taken into consideration for the big day. It was nearly impossible to get in touch with her to discuss details and logistics around the floral deliveries for our wedding day.



Since she was so busy during our consultation, we emailed Sarah pictures of what we'd like our wedding flowers and chuppah to look like. She agreed she could accommodate our requests, but come the day-of our chuppah looked completely different from what we requested. Huge deal considering the symbolism of a chuppah.



The ABSOLUTE WORST part of our wedding day was when Sarah pulled me away from our guests to pester me about payment. She KNEW we had a day-of wedding coordinator, as we'd discussed this previously, and instead of requesting the check from our coordinator, she went straight to me and my husband. She was in such a rush that she couldn't wait for our coordinator (who was currently organizing the song, photography, etc. for our first dance) and instead kept me away from guests until my husband ran to our hotel room to grab ANOTHER check for her since she was in such a hurry. I couldn't believe how tactless she was!



From start to finish, this florist was very disappointing. Sarah made planning a wedding more difficult than it ever should have been. All of our vendors were super helpful, with the exception of Sarah Young at Cedar's Flowers. I do not recommend using this florist for any special occasion unless you're prepared to be thoroughly disappointed.
