Lightening blew out my entire AC-heating system. Sams guys responded first thing the next morning with analysis and an estimate for my insurance. They helped to explain to the insurance what happened, but did not wait, but ordered all the replacement equipment and actually had some of it installed before the insurance gave the okay. They said that whatever happened, we needed the AC, and this is July and 90+ days are here. Don't know who else I would have called. Very reasonable and dependable.

The tech arrived and spent 15 minutes with my furnace. He than tried to charge me 79.00 for the service call and 69.50 for the wire repair which included no parts. He had not been told that the office had granted me a senior discount. I called the office and they got the bill corrected. He had overcharged me 10.00 on the service call. I still donot agree that a 15minute appointment should cost 138.00 when I was told that I got up to 30 minutes of labor with the diagnostic when I called for the appointment. The bill should have been 124.65 and I was charged 125.10. I would have considered that to be a wash but the furnace was not fixed. I had to go out and did not realize that it was still not working until early evening. I called and they wouldnot send anyone and said that they needed a part that would cost 275.00 and another hour or twos labor. When I asked what labor charges were per hour he did not know. Even though I was told you had the part in your own warehouse he wouldnot come to fix it.. The tech smugly said that it would give me time to clear my house so he would be more comfortable walking through my kitchen. I did not see that he had problems doing the bad job that he did initially. I think that he did not want to come back because he knew that I wasn't about to let him try to cheat me again. Before he left he had told me he would come back if there was a problem within the next 30 days. I am not only disappointed I am mad and very cold. I deserve a partial if not a full refund.
