The New York Blower Company manufactures a variety of air movement equipment for customers in both the retail and manufacturing markets. Its products include axial and centrifugal air-handling equipment, dust- and material-handling equipment, roof ventilators, process and fan components, fiberglass-reinforced plastic fans, heating equipment and custom-designed equipment, which are distributed via a worldwide network of more than 200 sales representatives, partners and licensees. The company also offers support systems that assist designers and engineers with the development of air- and gas-handling systems. The New York Blower Company was founded in 1893 and bought by brothers J.W. and August Mathis in 1904. It has headquarters in Willowbrook, Ill., and additional facilities in Effingham, Ill.
