They are hard to find in the mall but stay busy with returning customers.You can pick up your items within an hour. Unless it requires a lot of work but they do everything in the store. And it still costs less than taking it to Kay Jewelers! Kays and other chain jewelers charge you extra for their own profit since they send their repairs to 3rd parties! JJ's has this cool laser soldering machine that can pretty much fuse anything together!

I'm a big watch guy, and anytime I need my watches adjusted or new batteries, I only think of one place to go, and that's Fast-Fix. Great people at that store. Highly recommend.

This shop did a really good job with my bracelet. The staff was very friendly and understanding. The price for repair was reasonable and they finished the job rather quickly. My bracelet can be worn again thanks to these guys.

This is a great place to take your broken jewelry. I took my dad's watch here and they quoted me a really descent price to fix it. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend this business.

There's not much to say about this place other than it's great! It's as simple as it gets; friendly, courteous staff, honest, fair pricing and easy, painless transaction. If I'm ever in need of repairs on some old jewelry again, I'll be back to Fast Fix.

I agree with the above post, if I could I would give fast fix in El Cajon a negative rating. I had a horrible experience with this company and would never recommend ANYONE to go there. They destroyed a piece of jewelry very close to my heart that can never be brought back.The jewelers there are extremely dishonest and incompetent. If you think you will ever get through to the manager or the owner you can think twice.They never admit to guilt and will not reimburse money to you and the employees have horrible customer service! You will have to go as far to take them to court to get paid for your damages. Please spread the word to never go to the Fast Fix in El Cajon.

I was referred to this store by a friend, and decided to give them a try.



I needed three things done when I went to the store:



1.) Watch #1 - New battery

2.) Watch #1 - A link taken out

3.) Watch #2 - General repair



When they wrote down the list of things I requested, they wrote all three things down, but wrote the prices for services 1 and 3 only. No price was written down for the link removal service. At this point, I made the (horrible) assumption that it would be free of charge, as most repair shops I've dealt with provided this service free of charge. This was not so. They charged me $16 to have a link taken out. As this was my fault for not double checking, I was unhappy but willing to accept the charges.



When they gave me my watches back, however, I noticed that service #3 was not done at all. All she told me was, "Oh, we must've forgotten." No apology, nothing. She then proceeded to tell me that they would get it done within 10 minutes, and I decided to wait it out. Another bad judgment call on my part.



After the quoted time, I discovered that they had not even started on the repair on my watch. They mumbled something about the jeweler being on a phone call outside the store and refused to give us an estimate of the time for the repair.



At this point, I was done with this store. I will never go back to this location again.

Fix it Fast is wonderfully staffed and does exceptional work in a reasonable amount of time. The smart location of this place is very accommodating for an average repair. They charge a fair price and might even be willing to work out a discount under the right circumstances.

I have needed and used them for all of my family's repairs on jewelry and eyeglasses. I trust their work and their workers more then I trust my own doctor. If anyone needs a quick and trustworthy repair shop for their more delicate and often sentimental body wears, this is the place for you. Thank you.
