Provided by YP.comThe Technicians are not competitive, and could not diagnose the issue. The Technician could even speak English. This company was assigned to fix my air conditioner by my warranty company, but the contractor's company were running short of staff and did not have the time, hence the cntractor blamed me (customer) for the issue, due to which my warranty company did not cover the repair.

Provided by YP.comWe were recommended to them through our home warranty. A/C went out right before this labor day weekend. They came out today (day after labor day) and changed out compressor within 20 minutes! Trust me I don't normally write reviews because I'm a busy mom, but would recommend this company! Pleasant experience!

On July 7, 2009, our home appliance insurance carrier, American Home Shield, sent an estimator to our home in Rancho Mirage, CA, to affect a repair or replacement of our evaporative cooler. It was determined that the unit was beyond repair, and a replacement would be necessary. This is covered by our American Home Shield insurance policy.
We waited a few days hoping to hear from the contractors they assigned, Quality Mechanical, to contact us with a replacement date. However after a week of not hearing from them, we finally got them to answer their phone, only to be required to leave a message, which I did. They never returned my call, so a couple days later, I called our insurer, American Home Shield, to be told that the repair had been authorized, however they were awaiting a price quote from Quality Mechanical. Two more days passed without any contact from the contractor. After repeated calls I finally got a human who informed me that they could not find any authorization for this replacement!
Then on 7/16, called AHS insurance, and requested to speak with a supervisor. Instead, the associate with whom I spoke, after hearing my complete story, placed me on hold & called Quality Mechanical. After 6 minutes, she reported back to me that she had gotten through to the manager, and they were working on my case, and I would hear back within 24 hours. No such call came.
Even though I have requested AHS send a different contractor to effect this replacement, I was told they would not do this. The temperature here in Rancho Mirage, reaches 109 daily, and it is totally inexcusable for Quality Mechanical, to remain so terribly inefficient, stonewalling my repeated calls,
Therefore, I would like to go on record as saying ,Quality Mechanical is an unsatisfactory firm with, whom to do business, as far as customer relationship is concerned. If this case is finally consummated with Quality Mechanical as the contracted firm, we will, of course NEVER do business with them in the future.
