Overrated:

Jacques & Jills is overrated & should go out of business. This health club sucks balls, its small, the lockerrooms smell musty, the workout rooms reek of sweat, its dirty, they dont have an indoor pool, they dont have all the nice and necessary facilities that the much bigger, much more upgraded health clubs have like the big chained 24-HOUR FITNESS, LA FITNESS, BALLY TOTAL FITNESS have.



But I think the only reason why JACQUES 'N JILLS is still in business is only because JACQUES 'N JILLS is the largest health club in the whole Imperial Valley and because JACQUES 'N JILLS doesn't have enough competition since there's no 24-HOUR FITNESS, LA FITNESS, or BALLY'S to compete with either, but I can almost guarantee you that if El Centro opened up a nationwide gym like 24-HOUR FITNESS, it would skunk JACQUES 'N JILLS & put them out of business.



In fact, the city of El Centro should even consider closing down that JACQUES 'N JILLS Health Club over on Wake Avenue and converting into a 24-HOUR FITNESS

Don't waste your time or MONEY! The equipment, "If working" is old and dated. Waiting for repair? Good luck! Just tell yourself, "I'll skip that workout for the next month" because that's when it'll be fixed. The staff does what it can with the limited resources provided by management and the OWNER who I feel laughs his/her way to the bank. With exposed wires hanging from the ceiling from dated fans to now, no music. Problems easily resolved with a little TLC and customer satifaction in mind. For the price, you can find WAY BETTER in the valley. If you don't believe me, just take a tour before you sign up.

The only good thing about this place is the basketball court. The excercise equipment always smells like sweat. They do not every sanitize it seems like. I guess that is what we get for living in this valley with only a few other options. Plus they act like they are doing you a favor by getting a membership. Plus, we closed the account, paid it off, then they sent us to collections for $250!! They state they have taken it off yet it still appears on credit report after credit report. It looks very negative to creditors.
