El Cerrito High School is a public school that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,300 students and offers subjects, such as English, mathematics, biology, physiology, chemistry, physics, history, psychology, international problems and foreign languages, including French and Japanese. It also offers a number of sports activities, including football, tennis, volleyball, basketball, soccer, swimming, track and field, baseball, golf and softball. The school is affiliated with the West Contra Costa Unified School District and is located in El Cerrito, Calif. The school district serves more than 34,000 students in grades kindergarten through 12, as well as adult learners.
