I want to purchase - well - probably a semi- automatic pistol - maybe 9mm - for personal protection. I am familiar with shotguns, as a kid duck hunting. Since then, I have only possessed a Taurus 38 caliber, which was purchased for my wife and I for our camper In 1987, but since given to the Berkeley Police Department for destruction. At the age of 80 years, and still in good mental and - reasonably good physical health, I want to have a gun at home (not for carrying) to protect myself.

The owner is extremely informative. He is knowledgeable. He is honest, which is sometimes rare. I am grateful for all the information and assistance he has provided in the past. If you want a positive experience, visit his shop. Considering the political climate, it should not be a surprise for anyone to be wary of visitors from another country. This guy is number one. He has a lot of interesting old guns for sale. Not heavy into black plastic, though. He is very friendly if you are the same. Also very knowledgeable. He has been very helpful to my friends from other countries.
