The El Monte Community Center houses the administrative offices of several divisions of the city government of El Monte, Calif. The divisions housed by the community center provide oversight to the city s parks, recreation and transportation interests. In addition, the building is equipped with meeting rooms, as well as small and large auditoriums that are available for rental use by residents and civic groups. The community of El Monte, Calif., has a population of more than 115,000 people and is located in the San Gabriel Valley area of Southern California. The community is approximately 12 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
