Overall my experience with Ingalls was good. Even though the owner of the rental property wasn't very good. Ingalls was very proactive in trying to resolve the situation. I would recommend them.

Do not rent from them they have horrible maintenance people that are laz and never will fix your stuff and then later on charge you

Very unprofessional. I contacted them to view a property, they gave me the code to the lock box and I went and viewed it. That should've been my first red flag. The Pictures I had seen of the place were entirely deceiving. The home I saw was in clean perfect condition, the yard was well maintained, it looked perfect. The house I viewed looked like it hadn't been lived in for years. There were spiders, webs, and roaches all over. Every doorway I walked into a new web. The weeds in the backyard were up to my waist and dead, graffiti on the wall, side gate broken. First my husband called asking when they'd be finished cleaning it, to which they told him that they don't do that until you rent it. I thought maybe he heard wrong so I emailed them asking the same question as well as asking if we could come talk to them since their office closed at 1:30 and I had just missed them. I have yet to receive a reply. I'm pretty disappointed, aside from all the flaws we loved the house, but it's impossible to think someone will rent a house when it looked the way it did when we saw it. What is even more disappointing is that they run quite a few properties around El Paso and I'll find a house that I like and see it's run by them and decide against it completely.

We have been renting from Ingalls Real Estate for 4 months now and their staff have been nothing but helpful. We have had maintenance completed in a timely manner. We have referred friends recently who have also rented a house with Ingalls Real Estate and they are happy with the service provided!!

I have never seen a real estate company that shows the least interest in its tenants. They never reply to emails and say the will call and never do. But I bet if we were to be late on rent, they would call in a heart beat.

Definetly need to hire at least one more office worker, or replace the 2 in there now, they need to get out of the office for more than just lunch. The vacant properties need to be inspected by them before a possible tenant signs the lease, especially if all they going to go off is a receipt received from the who ever performed any work on the property. For better coverage in the office you need to have them stagger their lunch breaks. Its not an easy task getting to them by phone, they need help.....

Don't waste your time or money! We hired Ingalls to be our property managers and were usually left frustrated and very disappointed by their services. The company is poorly run and not proactive. As homeowners, WE hired THEM to show and manage our property yet we were left to do most of the legwork A LOT of the time. They were horrible about keeping us in the loop about our property. We would usually have to call the office multiple times before we could ever reach anyone. We swear Pamela is the only person that is ever available . Their "contractor" is the owner's husband and we were told by tenants that the work was usually slow to get done and not good quality. They would show our home in unacceptable condition, i.e. dirty from previous tenants and not ready for new renters. They raised their fees and the service got much worse. NOT worth the hassle or the money!

We never had any issues with Ingalls & Associates during our 2 years renting a house from them. Staff was always awesome and maintenance was timely. We'd do business with them again. Their A+ rating from the BBB is well deserved.

If I told my best friend about Ingalls & Associates, I would say STAY AWAY!!! Their maintenance is easily the worst I've seen, their record-keeping leaves much to be desired, and their management is shady. It regularly takes more than a week to schedule repairs, and they often do not finish the repairs when they do come out. The quality of the repairs is extremely low (gluing parts back together in toilets for example), and do not last long. They broke my bathroom sink, then denied having done so, effectively leaving me to pay for a new one. Overall, I would tell my friend if they decided to do business with Ingalls: record everything, become aware of your rights, and never give them the opportunity to take advantage of you.

they are great to a point, the staff is very nice, when it comes to maintenance its very poor. i have called them a few times and it takes almost a week to come out, out house wasn't even ready for us when we moved in even though we paid rent a month before we moved in to hold the house for us. it was a mess and there is still problems with the house. when it comes to rent you have to have rent turned into them by 11:59pm on the 3rd. i sent a check in almost a week before it was due and they didn't get it until the 4th due to the post office not running and they charged me a 25$ late fee, witch is uncalled for. I cant help that the mail did not run for 3 days witch would have giving it 3 days to get there. I know how it is to rent out a house I always gave an extra day when a Holiday was on the 1st. they really need to look over there policy for this and redo it.

Hi Jessica_r - I am sorry that you are unhappy with our maintenance service. We understand the importance of timely service upon putting in a request. Although I do not know the nature of your repair request, I will try to explain the scheduling of repairs. Emergency repairs are obviously moved to the top of the schedule which sometimes set back the other scheduled appointments. As my staff probably explained to you, all appointments are scheduled by weekly times, so if our week is full then unfortunately, we must schedule the following week. I assure you we are constantly working on preparing our maintenance staff & correcting our maintenance schedule so that these kind of complaints do not happen. With regards to late fees, I understand holidays get in the way of mail, but we are very clear in our lease that we do not make any exceptions on "the 3rd of the month at 11:59pm rule" If Ingalls Real Estate was to make an exception for you, then legally we MUST make an exception for all tenants who are late. The lease that we use is a promulgated form from the Texas Association of Realtors and this late fee term has not been created by Ingalls Real Estate, but by many lawyers that created these promulgated forms. I apologize that Ingalls Real Estate cannot make any exceptions on late fees. Please feel free to contact me in the future about any of your concerns about our management company, and I will try to resolve the issues and hopefully I can change your response to our services.

Great Homes!

We've been renting our house from Ingalls & Associates for over a year now. The house is lovely, and if there has ever a maintenence, they have sent someone out right away to take care of it. The homes are located in a country like setting, which is so peaceful. The neighborhood is great! The Associates that work for the company are all very pleasant and helpful!
