Dr. Bender is competent, diligent, efficient and thorough. Yes, she is straight forward; that is what I want in a doctor. Dr. Bender saw me through a dreadful lung disease several years ago--she persisted in finding a diagnosis until she got it. When I called for an appointment I was scheduled for the very next day. She sent me to the hospital immediately. Even though it was Friday afternoon, all needed tests, xrays etc were completed before I went to sleep that night! I recommend her to anyone that will listen!
