Stopped in on a whim. Friendly staff. Was seated right away and our server was amazing. Great flavors on their food. I see the negative reviews and must say I didn't experience anything like that. Will be returning soon. Only regret was that I didn't bring enough money to leave a bigger tip.. Awesome place

Be prepared to know Spanish, their employees constantly answer back at you in Spanish. I'm not surprised because this is a family owned business. I called I asked them about something the guy said no, and hanged up.

My family of 8 was refused service because I had a service dog. US & Texas law requires equal service to people with support dogs. I showed a copy of the law and our Support Team id to the restaurant and they still refused. We didn't leave and they said we could eat outside -- no one else was outside and it looked like it would rain. The manager didn't even speak with us -- just sent the seating guy back and forth. Other people were seated while we stood there. My dog & I travel everywher together -- we must. No other restaurant ever refused us. We are contacting Texas authorities and the Department of Justice to enforce our rights. We did go to Leos restaurant instead and had a wonderful meal.

What can I say about Barrigas Mexican food? It's the best place for enchiladas and a corona. Lovely patio, great people, and no can resist their salsa.
