I am writing an unsatisfied and a little bit frustrated due to a problem that I have encountered with the rental car company Budget Rent a Car. I had planned a three day Labor Day Weekend rented out the lodge where we were going to stay and a car rental from this car rental company mentioned above. Little did I know I was going to go through what I have experienced especially after returning from my vacation trip. Firstly, when I went with my husband to rent the car, the customer service representative did not have the desire to explain to us in clear statement as it is in the case of any other car rental companies about filling up the tank once the car was returned. They have a sign that says “we give you a full tank. No refunds or credits” by having this sign what do customers understand by that. How is this supposed to be interpreted? Secondly they consign you the car alone a paper with the car’s picture sketch and the places where it already has scratches or dents but they never tell you in my case in this case they were very precise about acknowledging me on dents and scratches. They also wanted me to buy insurance for damages on the car when I had already purchased it. The customer service representative gave me an ignorant response, and, I quote “Oh this is not our website, and I don’t know where it comes from” not the customer service guy who helped us. Luckily that is not our case. This is not the first time we rent a car. Unfortunately the company that we rent from did not have any car available for the dates we were traveling.
