Provided by YP.comCathedral High School was established in 1925 in the Catholic Community Center of El Paso, Texas. Over 5,000 young men have graduated from Cathedral Since the first senior graduation in 1927. For the school's first thirty two years, the faculty was composed of Christian Brothers. Since the 1960's lay colleagues, professional, licensed teachers have joined the faculty. All social history affects the school that continues to open its doors under the most trying times. World Wars, the Great Depression, September 11, and discord in the Middle East are part of the teachings on campus and part of the life lived by its students. Some of our students have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our beloved country by serving in all branches of the armed service. One Nation, under God, is a lesson learned well at Cathedral High School.
Cathedral high school has graduated US Statesmen (Ambassador to Costa Rica Raymond Telles), city representatives, state representatives, doctors (Dean of the El Paso Medical School), lawyers (Chief Justice of the State of Texas, military service personnel among them Admiral Sam Perez, several officers in all of our armed services, numerous teacher and principals in our area. In the last several years we have graduated 100% of our senior classes and 100% percent of our graduates have been accepted to university and colleges in our nations schools.
