Eastwood Church of Christ is a non-denominational congregation that strives to imitate Christ in their worship and their lives. We depend on the Word of God as our inspiration and feel that it holds all the instruction needed to follow Christ. As a ministry to our community we have: A school (CSEP) 6 mo thru K (915-593-5011), an ESL school (SOAR) that offers Free classes in English, Citizenship and basic computer, there is also a monthly Food Bank program (ECHO) that provides food on a monthly basis. Worship assembly on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. with Bible classes for all ages at 9:00 a.m. in addition, we offer Bible study in your home at your convenience. Since we are in the military it's always hard finding a church home. It takes a few visits to different locations before we make a choice because we have kids and need a solid youth group. Upfront this church was friendly and everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It was not a large congregation and the youth was scattered in age and not together. We'll go back again but if we do not see more youth then most likely we will move on. However, this church makes it hard to turn away: they sent us a card and did a follow-up call the week after our first visit. Good visitor reception! Just get more youth and you're going places!
