About CASA of El Paso CASA of El Paso is one of more than 900 programs in 50 states affiliated with the National CASA Association. The local names of these programs vary, but they include: Court Appointed Special Advocate, Guardian Ad Litem and Voices for Children. CASA of El Paso started in 1986 as a collaboration with the then 327th Juvenile Court, The Junior League of El Paso, and the National Council of Jewish Women. Our mission continues to be: CASA of El Paso trains and supports volunteers from the community to advocate for abused and neglected children who need representation in the family court system, striving to provide them a safe and permanent home. CASA of El Paso is a 501 C-3 non-profit organization funded by contributions, foundations, federal, state and local grants. We are also a United Way member.
