Provided by YP.comI went to Dr. Vargas for an emergency, since I read that they take in emergencies. I had my apointment at 3pm I was not seen until close to 5:30pm. I do have to say is that he did a good job with the emergencie I had. I handed over my insurance card so that they can verify what is covered. I was in pain, I had broken one of my molar so that molar had to be taken out. Once I was ready to be seen by the doctor, he tells me that his clerk tried to call the insurance company but that they had closed around 4pm so they say. I ended up paying out of pocket $360.00. Two weeks later I called my insurance to see if they had recieved they claim, they had not but that was because the claim was done by mail and it would take up to two to three weeks to get their. I had one more question for my insurance company I asked them at what time they closed so that the doctor can call and verify how much coverage I have. They are OPEN 24 HOURS!!!!! I dont know what is going on if its because he has clerks that dont know how to do their job or something else. But this will be the first and the last time I go there. It left me with an untrustfull taste for this place. I dont want to think wrong of people but I will take my buisness somewhere else.

Provided by YP.comThis office is the worst I've ever been too! The staff is completely unprofessional the place is a mess the Dr was rude and the utensils were unsanitary. Not to mention I didnt see anyone wash their hands inbetween working with the next patient. The wait times were long and I was given the run aroung on more than one occassion! I will NOT be going back!
I wouldn't give it one star if I didn't have to!!!!

Provided by YP.comDONT TRUST THEM TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!I called and made an appointment 2 weeks prior to get prices for 1st time visit for my 2 children because I do not have insurance and was quoted a price and when I arrived the price was doubled and after I asked if my price would be honored the elderly female that was in charge did not even get up from her chair to explain their error to me. I then had to ask them if they were willing to lose 2 potential clients for their error. Another female in the office showed the elderly lady where 125 was listed in the computer and she said no and they charge for missed appointments but never took in consideration the time and service they were lacking towards me. The elderly lady in charge then said she would honor my price but not giving me the full service and I said that I wanted to make sure that services rendered towards my children would not suffer for an error made in their office, she said that they would charge me for anything else needed. I then told them I am sorry but i was concerned for the safety and quality of care my children would receive. They could care less.

Provided by YP.comIt seems that the whole point of making an appointment is so that you wont be taken as a walk in and wont have to wait for hours to be seen. Well not at this office, I waited 2 1/2 HOURS before even being seen by the dentist. This is very unproffessional and very inconvenient. The procedures are also painful even when it shouldn't be....
If your looking to go to this dentist, look ELSEWHERE!
